Sabretooth

This is take two on this attempt of Sabretooth. This time, I still used the original outfit. I have never been a fan of anything else this character has worn. I always admired Sabretooth (even before his X-men acquaintances mysteriously happened) back when he was a baddie with Ironfist.


The only reason he wound up being Wolverine's arch nemesis was due to the fact that the two mutants looked alike and so Marvel's writers got creative and built a story line around the two of them (as Wolverine's popularity grew so did a need for a arch nemesis). Sabretooth was brought over to X-men land and the rest is history.
The body I have Sabretooth on is one of my custom muscle bodies along with the custom head sculpt.

Compared to the happy go lucky Hugh Jackman Wolverine head I used to have on there. Yes, Sabretooth now looks complete. I am so happy I started sculpting and making my own heads years ago. I owe all of my head building skills to Jessica Rotich, she is my inspiration and watching her tutorials and talking to her got me believing I can sculpt any head. I never would have thought years later I would have been making all four individual heads of the Beatles.
That Sabretooth head had to be psycho. For Thor's sakes the character eats human flesh. You almost have to be crazy to do something like that. Like I said, Sabretooth was really given a birthright when he was sewn into Wolverine's origin before that he was just someone for Ironfist to battle.

Yes, that is a repainted ten Inch Marvel Apocalypse figure. You can buy those online. It was perfect for Apocalypse because he is usually in a large form. I am considering another repaint (after a strip down) with metallic paints on the figure to make him look more metal.
