Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends: Iceman and Firestar

This show holds a special place in my heart. My whole family has seen every episode.

From wiki: "Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends is an American animated television series produced by Marvel Productions starring established Marvel Comics characters Spider-Man and Iceman and an original character, Firestar. As a trio called the Spider-Friends, they fought against various villains.

Originally broadcast on NBC as a Saturday morning cartoon, the series ran first-run original episodes for three seasons, from 1981 to 1983, then aired repeats for an additional two years (from 1984 to 1986). Alongside the 1981 Spider-Man animated series, Amazing Friends was later re-aired in the late 1980s as part of the 90 minute Marvel Action Universe."

Iceman is built a Mego T2 Keeper body; suit designed by Daremo and printed by me; head sculpted by Next2LastMohican; paints by your truly.

Firestar built on female Mego body with painted hands; head by my friend Dave (if you look closely you can see the different shades of red); mask and suit by yours truly

I hope you enjoy my customs as much as I do, and, as always, thanks for looking.

    Peace, Love and Megos,

The first time I saw these characters together was in a Viewmaster type of "crank projector". In the cartoon, they teamed up to battle this lava monster.

This here is perfection of my memories. Great Job Austin.

Love these! It's criminal this snow has not received a US DVD release. That Firestar is the best custom of her I've ever seen. If you ever sell those suits and mask I'm in since my talents or lack thereof limited me to doing the Angelica Jones AE.

Great job, as always! Too bad Mego was on the way out when this show debuted. These two could have really helped to refresh the WGSH line, and kids would have bought them left and right.

I like the use of "icy blue" on Iceman, sets him apart from the usual all white approach. Very nice!

That's some amazing detail on Iceman.

"It's sad that governments are chiefed by the double tongues. There is iron in your words of death for all Comanche to see, and so there is iron in your words of life. No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men. The words of Ten Bears carries the same iron of life and death. It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life... or death. It shall be life."
