Another custom I just completed. I redid the head 3 times before I decided to let it ride. I still may go back and re-do it but for now, I present the Black Panther!

Thanks, Link. There are so many different versions of him (Necklace/no necklace. Cape/no cape. Boots/no boots) I wasn't sure what direction to go. I went with what I thought Mego may have done back in the day.

Great way to pull it together. BP is really hard to get any depth to IMO.

The belt is actually my own creation. I cut the basic shape out of thin cardboard (from the back of a notebook), applied self adhesive enamel dots that I found at Michael's (the package says My Minds Eye Enamel Dots. They come 52 to a card in different sizes and are about $3) and then did two dips in very thin plasti-dip. The back has the same type of closure as an original Mego belt. I have done about 3 other belts the same way and built them up differently each time so they look different. I have to say that plasti dip is some great stuff. His hands have 2 thin layers on them as well to make them black but still keep all the detail.
