My gi joe in mini mego form!

Hi, folks.

I've been wanting this guy for a while. I have one "proper" GI Joe Air Adventurer from my childhood (not counting Mike Power Atomic Man). I've been wanting to Mego-size him for a while now.

TrueDave makes GREAT 1/9 scale Joe heads and I bought one preflocked from him on ebay. He had also painted the face, but I redid it a bit to better match my guy. I matched the clothing as best I could and overall, I think they look pretty well matched. Just wanna share! I have been working a lot lately and haven't had time to complete the more time consuming customs I've got partially started so this was sort of nice that I could actually get it done even though I bought the head over a year ago. Hahahahaah. I'm a doof. I couldn't recall which one it was and had a 50/50 shot between air and sea. Thanks for setting me straight, Dave! Can you tell I don't collect GI Joe?

Great custom. I would have flipped out over this when I was a kid... it always bugged me that my Joes and Mego were different scales.
