    Thor, for my son

Now, of the handful of custom Megos I've put together, this look the least amount of my effort. This one was pretty much "gather all the parts, and put them all together." Of all my previous builds, I actually had to do some sewing and crafting. Well, I guess I did some repair sewing to the costume, but that was pretty much it.

The head, and paint job, come from Brian Leitner. I actually thought this was a good looking alternative to tracking down an original head. I could not find one that wasn't pretty pricy. The costume came from Ebay. I still count myself lucky in picking that up for less than $20. The boots, repro, came from Ebay. The rest (hammer, body, wrist bands, helmet, and belt) come from Dr. Mego. Because the head is different, the helmet will not fit, obviously, but I thought having the figure hold the helmet would work. Though, looking at this pic, having it tucked/cradled on the hip, under the forearm might have been a better pose. The belt is a little thin, but I like the metal buckle aspect of the belt, rather than simple cloth or something plastic.

Delivery isn't until Christmas, so I can still find an original/repro head, and might work on the belt.

    Nice job.
