    Doom, for my daughter

The first of three Christmas gifts is completed. Dr. Doom has always been my daughter's favorite Marvel character. He has always been an inspiration, so if all of us end up having to say, "Hail, Alicia," sometime in the future, that's why.

The head comes from Next2lastmohican. The boots, gauntlets, chainmail suit, and hand gun come from Dr. Mego. The belt/holster I picked up on Ebay, but I think it's CTVT. The tunic, hood, cape, and gold looking do-dads came from me.

Sometimes, I think the hardest part is getting a good picture.

Doom is my 4th build. Deadpool is up next, for my son-in-law, followed by Thor for my son.

That is awesome. Great sewing job.Try adding some tinman leg and arm parts to armor him up more.

Megoknight, I've seen a number of Doom creations where there were some arm and leg parts added. I choose not to go that direction because, well, frankly, adding Tinman parts to Doom made him look a little too Tinman. I stayed with the chain-mail look so that he would look a little more sleek, but still look armored.

I like him. I was just suggesting options you've already thought of. I'm sure she will love it.

                        Yo, Captain Mego.

That's high praise--I've seen your Dr. Doom!

Nice job. You going to paint his face with a little metal coloring?

I had not thought of that. I'm thinking I'll leave this one as is. I like the way it looks, I don't want to mess it up. But, when I make my own Doom, I will consider a little metal coloring.
