Yes, a more obscure early 70's character, but he would have made an excellent addition to the Popy line. <Take that Battle Kenya!>
Thanks for the comments; given what has already gone into him and the fine work you all do, it means much.
I did two versions of the head by accident... one with shorter horns and one with longer (pictured). This occurred because of the multi-directional undercuts and having to work through a series of sprue additions in the mold. With that there are two variants in the edition. I'll post the short version in the working threads soon, which will be used to make a more *realistic* Devilman (and perhaps the blue anime version) as opposed to this Mego-style.
Hard to see in these pics, but he's also got a pretty cool grin making his face asymmetrical, which I though was more true to the manga history.
Oh, and working with sheet silicone is awesome. It comes with double faced backing that protects the rubber while you working on/with it. Expensive, but such a great material.
