Mego Indiana Jones .. show me some Indy love!

Soooo, I put my Dick Tracy custom a side because felt a little nostalgic about the Indy line, I've been an Indy fan all my life and its sad that he's been forgotten for a while now.
I have a 1/6 custom collection which you can check out here>

But i've never had a Mego figure from him... so I purchased from a member here the "cast away" Indy that was around back in the day, and it looked neat and all, but I thought I could do a bit better.... First I used that shrunken medicom Indy head from an ebay seller, then I used the "Shazam" body because he has the slim athletic look Ford had in Riders , but I took the arms and legs off to add the arms and legs from DOc's Swivel buff body (and this was a HUUUGE PAIN IN THE ARSE, that Shazam body is super hard to pull apart! I do not recommend that surgery to anyone! Lol...)

and also, another thing i wanted to fix was de tiny hat that the Cast away fig came whit, so I added sculpy on the sides and on the top of the hat...
Please tell me what you think so far....

ANd this is what he looks like finished. I added the pockets on the jacket, made a more screen accurate mego size "man purse" for him, a web belt plus a leather belt, a gun and whip holster, and a custom posable whip!

Here in this pic, I took off his jacket, and you can see the details added to his shirt and the resin revolver... more of a "Streets of Cairo" look

I made the Idol Stand over the weekend, with some modeling clay and fake bushes that are used in rail road modelling...
    Tell me what you think.

Using a Bible hero figure, I got inspired to customize his "good friend" Sallah, always loved the character , I know his head doesn't look much like the actor, but try to imagine the likeness I want to work on the back drop a bit more, and provably create a "well of the souls" .... we'll see if I have the time and the talent!

Looks good. Nice job resizing the head.

Kind of a shame you had to modify a Castaway fedora, though. I know those are getting somewhat tough to find these days.
