    Type3Toys-Remco/Mego Frankenstien Kit Bash

Had a load of fun cobbling this togther. I love the 9" Remco Frankenstien Monster so I decide to knock him down a peg to mego scale. This figure is a "Frankenstien" in every sense of the word too. This is what I did.
I took the torso of an original mego Hulk, cut out the groin and put in an original mego pelvis. This gave me the perfect height. Then I used stretch cord to tie on the original Remco Frankie legs. They are actually exact mego size and style as Type 2 mego so they fit and work in the mego pelvis perfectly. Then I used Dr Mego Hulk arms, cut off the hands and put on the Remco Frankie hands with some of the Remco wrist to add length.
Pop on the Remco Frankie head and outfit and...ZZZZZZZZ....ITS ALIVE!!!!

Here is a shot of the original next to the new mego size kit bash

Here is a shot next to a Type 2 mego Frankie- The new Remco Frankie is just a tad taller, making it perfect size!

Here is the last pic. Here he is standing next to a custom mego Human Wolfman.

                            He's great!

You're so creative, I seldom think outside the toybox to mix & match parts like that.

I don't quite undersatnd, though, how you merged a Hulk torso with a standard pelvis?

I took an xacto and cut the Hulk about mid pelvis, leaving about 1/4" of crotch in the front and 1/4 of butt in the back. Then I pressed the Type 2 pelvis into the opening and drove 2 pins fom front to back to hold the new pelvis in palce. I have always loved the Remco Frankie, with that Glow head and huge Glow hands.
