Steve Austin second bionic joe head custom

Using Bionic Joe's head. Since then, he made a second version which I finally got and painted up. Thought you'd like a look. Both have their pluses and look a lot ot me what Mego would've done in 1974. I know a couple others have used this head for customs here but using it doing something beyond the Mego paint job look. In person, mine looks great but in closeup like this, you can see the flaws which means he is due for a touch up. But still he looks okay.

Lmao! I just paid Joe for one of these heads not ten minutes ago.
I'd like to have a scaled down version of his vintage box...then, get BBP's Bigfoot...mod him a bit and get a scaled down version of that box...then I'd be happy.

It makes me sad that BBP dropped the ball so badly with their Steve head sculpt.

It would have been so amazing to have a proper Steve in 1/9 scale.

Only thing really wrong with BBP Steve is the head size and that they didn't paint him a raised eyebrow.

Man that is awesome! That looks like it came off the shelf in 1974. What's even better is a regular guy made it, not a huge company but a guy ( or gal) at his house! That to me is the ultimate in customizing... when you make a figure better than one currently being manufactured! That's a win bro!
