Nice! The face even looks like Grell's artwork.

Funny how Sable is somewhat forgotten. The guy had a very short-lived TV show, even!

Grell is one of the artist/writers I follow. Sable is probably one of the most unknown great comics out there. Very nice custom. If you make the belts with the leg holster let me know. I think I may want to upgrade the one on my custom Sable I made about 10 years ago. I always thought that Superman's head looked a lot like Sable...he just needed a tribal mask. I used an opague pen that is used in film processing in printing to paint the mask on his face. Unlike Sharpie...it doesn't leach into the head:

As for the gun...If you can shrink down a Han Solo blaster I think that would work for Sable's gun. I have a BB Flem custom head lying around somewhere that my old pal Buk made for me. One day I will get around to making a custom...and with the new Zica female bodies that just came out...I think a Maggie the Cat custom may be in order.

I made the belt/holster myself with vinyl and the buckle is actually a metal washer. There are also pouches on the back of the belt. Love your Sable...the Clark head is an excellent choice.
                  Thanks ~ Jase
