Some of my work...Hawkman

Very nice Hawkman! I have had my custom for two years, incomplete. I will have to pick up a few DC figures for parts. How did you do his chest emblem? It looks really cool.

Thank you - the emblem is off the same public enemies figure I bashed for parts. Recently placed a large order with Doc and when it comes in I plan on re-doing his boots into something a little less clunky.

Nice work. Hawkman looks great on a ZICA body. How did you attach the wings?

The wings had ball ends...I drilled the back of the body were the ball was just a hair bigger. I then wrap the wing post before the ball joint area with 3M tape. I then heated up the torso a lit bit and the pushed the wings into the holes I drilled. this makes the wings tight and secure and allows them to be posed instead of just kind of being flat and just hanging there. Just got my box in from Doc Mego today....going to have a fun weekend!

Dude! You just became my new best Mego Museum pal! I'm in love with Hawkman and I love how you chose to go modern with his look and avoid traditional Super Friends Megoey type ones like I did along with others!! Now I want to make a new Hawkman after seeing this!!!!

Well I re-did his boots and got rid of those red clunky things which made my Hawkman look like he had Elephantitis. Any way here are the new pics with some Dr Mego customized boots.
