I wanted to wait a bit when posting this third take I have done on Captain Mar-vell. Originally I tackled a green and white one with the original fin head look but disassembled it because it was an early (bad) custom. I have been doing alot of that lately. Going back and disassembling and redoing a lot of my early work from a decade ago. Not saying I am all that and a bag of chips I just feel that I have improved since I started a decade or so ago in the customizing biz.
First I wanted to make sure I wasn't stepping on magyar1964's toes when posted this. I waited a bit of time. It's just ironic I have been working on a Captain Mar-vell and a Beast figure and they have been two figures tackled by good friendly Mego members also.
With my Captain Mar-Vell I took the blue and went with this combo blue spacey sapphire color combined with sparkly miniature rock like stuff in the paint. For some reason the camera does not produce the affect but I guarantee if you were sitting here it would be twinkling like the stars above.
If he looks a little familiar, I did this awhile a back with different paint and sculpted the most goofiest head you can imagine. All is well now.
Here are a few pictures I took. I gave up trying to get that sparkly affect with the camera. This is even a nice camera. Oh well. Use your imagination I suppose.
Thanks for all who are looking.
