Space Ghost is finished
newer space ghost.JPG After soom final tweeks, Space Ghost is finally complete. His chest emblem is a halloween candy and his wrist buttons are made from chicklets gum. It may be the first time candy has been used for a Mego.

Nah, don't worry about that. If everyone did Batman or Superman things would get stale quick. Keep making what makes you happy, and congrats on the candy idea. It may be a first!Comment

Hey buddy that was brilliant!! If you are not going to eat the candy you might want to goto a craft store and pick up this stuff called Modge Podge. It's a glue glaze and put it over the top of the candy as a coating. Otherwise your candy will start to deteriorate over the years. Trust me.
Modge Podge will go on like a milky white glaze but when it dries it will be clear and turn your candy hard as rock. I did this for a Hourman figure I did a long time a got after I made a chest out of a allergy pill for a friend as a joke.
A lot of people use Modge Podge to preserve fruit and stuff like that for table art decorations. It works like a charm!!!!
But anyway, your Space Ghost is pretty cool. If you are planning on keeping him around make sure you do that. Trust me.

Thank you for the tip and advice. I actually coated the candy in something called NH3o2 from where I work and let it dry real real good. It acts like a lacquer. I would not be suprised if his chest emblem and arm gauntlets are now bullet proof.Comment
