DCD 13" Justice Society of America group photo + Golden Age Aquaman

With the completion a while back of a DC Direct 13" custom Mr Terrific, my JSA roster is nearly complete. While I plan to add Johnny Thunder & Thunderbolt and perhaps Ma Hunkle/Red Tornado, I figured now was a good time to take a group photo. The roster stands at 19 members; there are 4 DCD factory releases (GA Green Lantern, GA Flash, Power Girl and Black Canary), 3 figures I consider "kit bashes" (GA Superman, GA Batman, and GA Wonder Woman, though I did add many customized elements, particularly to WW), and 12 customs.

I also recently completed a Golden Age/Earth-2 Aquaman custom. I used the base DCD release but added an entirely hand made costume, using a brighter orange for the tunic and a less shiny green for the leggings. I made new gauntlets and painted them and the gloves yellow to match his Golden Age look. The belt is the DCD belt painted yellow, and the calf fins are from the DCD release as well.

Due to my poor photography skills, the tunic looks much less vibrant than it is; in reality it is a rich, bright orange.

And here's a shot of my custom next to the DCD factory release:

That is just an amazing collection of customs you have done. You really went after the details and nailed them very well. I doubt there will ever be a finer collection of figures representing this group. Awesome work!

Even though I'm making early Marvel cutoms now, at heart, I'm a DC fan. As a long time DC fan, that collection is to die for!
