In thinking this one up I wanted to do something dedicated to all-time favorite cartoon but something unique. Also not only has Firestar been done a few times, she's been made far better than I could. So I decided to make her AE , Angelica Jones complete with Amazing Friends outfit to compliment my Parker AE done in the same vein.
Here she is reunited with PP.
Head is one of the new CTVT red heads. While here hair is light brown in the cartoon, since that option doesn't exist I though the red hair looked better than dark brown and is actually accurate to the comic version who is a redhead.
"Shirt" is actually CTVT lime jumpsuit cut down to short sleeves (to accommodate the jacket) and the legs cut off bathing suit style so it stays in place.
Jacket is a 60's Barbie Skipper Jacket I found cheaply on Ebay. While I could have dyed it a shade darker, since it was almost right color already I left it alone. Plus
I figured it would be easier to match up the color for the shoes. I do have a white CTVT men's suit jacket, but after trying it on, it looked like just that, a male jacket on a female doll that did not fit right. So not worth busting out dye for that either.
Pants are CTVT Richie pants which work surprising well. Shoes are white CTVT women's shoes painted with acrylic paint. I'm pleasantly surprised my initial thoughts were correct and I was able to match this yellow nicely. Probably much easier than if I had gone darker.
Body is a Mego Dinah body with some neck/knee issues, but it will do for a custom that's just going to be posed.
