    It's Clobberin' Time

Well guys, I'm back. But I have disappointing news, I won't be posting anymore figures for the rest of the year. I'm sorry.

    Enough sob story

This is a figure, I've once again, wanted to do for a LOOONG time. With this guy, I certainly bit off ALOT more then I could chew, but I think I did decent to say the least Ill probably end up doing some touch ups but I thought you guys would like to see what kept me busy all day

Enough back story, here we go:

What first started off as a deformed Darkseid head, turned out to be a neat base for a Thing.

Like I've said in previous threads, I can't sculpt but in reality, I had ALOT of fun and never lost ambition or inspiration for this,

So little by little, and with ALOT of clay, I started the construction.

Still lacking the ability to sew, I was happy that I actually made a pair of pants, and for a hulk body no less

And in combination with a snazzy new pair of shoes, The Thing towers over my Hulk

And in my opinion, he looks ALOT better painted.

And with the black belt and logo adds the icing on the cake.

Hope you guys like him, he was soo much fun to make.
    Thanks for looking
    -Sean

That's one thing that's been bugging me after the fact but from a side view, Atleast he has a little?

And thanks everyone for the kind words, I know he's not perfect but he works for me

Looks great!! But the head looks more like Korg to me.

Maybe if you want to make a second custom...

this was fun to watch him build.
Pretty sure it was the ole DaveMC sewing tutorial he used to make the pants. nice to watch him figure it out.

Thanks for the kind words, I used some Sculpy Super Firm Oven Bake Clay on a Doc Mego Hulk body for the rock effect and just used basic orange acrylic paint

That's your best work so far. It really looks like the movie version, which I thought was unfairly criticized. Excellent figure. I am digging this new stuff you're putting out.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

That's what i was going for with a mixture of my own style, Lately when I've been making customs I haven't been trying to make them how they should be , but rather in my style and how I like them, even though they're not perfect I still like me very much. Thanks Scott

The best version of any character to make is the one you like most. Always remember that.
