Hybrid Thor! little classic, a little Hemsworth and a little modern era :)
012.jpg009.jpg006.jpg003.jpg001.jpgGood afternoon mego heads - So I primed a couple of rooms in my new house today - came home took a shower. And had some time to kill before the 4:00 games so I decided to finish this one off.
What we have here is a Thor Hybrid - It has a little old school Thor, a Little new school Thor and a little Chris Hemsworth aall wrapped in one
I Got the head from Ebay - From Matt M. (ebay name - last of the Mohicans)
Normally you know me -I try to keep them looking like original megos - But this one I wanted to go a different route.
I wanted more of a realistic feel to him, so who better to paint it than the legend Random Axe! (Thanks Scott for painting this for me!)
He did so a while ago - right around the time of the meet. I just did not finish him off until today. He really did an awesome job on it -it looks so life like!
For the suit I went with an original mego Thor suit. I cut off the legs, and I cut apart a reproduction romulan type suit. I then got grandma Grace to stitch it all together.
I added a famous covers belt, and an original pair of mego boots. I most likely will up grade him down the road, by painting or replacing the blue circles on his silver-ish or gray to make it look a little more like modern era type suit.
Just realized pics did not come out that good - I will get some better ones up later - These really do not show the detail Scott put into painting this head
