I am thrilled to get my hands on two of the Kiss mego style figures from CTVT. As you may know, the reproductions do NOT come with guitars, but rather a useless "album art reproduciton". Not even a cut out like the original Megos!!! Don't they know that KISS is all about ROCK N ROLLLLLLLL!!!!!!??????!!!!!
well, whatever... the company says it will be producing them but I grew sick of waiting an made these out of Balsa Wood. I tried to be as accurate to their instruments of the eras represented. First I did Gene's bass. A customized '59 Gibson EB-0. Check it here:http://www.vintageguitar.com/3353/kiss-able-gibson/

Then I did Ace's Les Paul. I have it shown on the Love Gun figure, but it is actually a gift for my brother and his '74 Ace figure

Finally, I did Ace's most famous 3-Pickup Les Paul:

The straps are just electrical tape doubled up on itself. I tried to make these as close to the real thing as I could... I need some new paints!!!! Paul Stanley's Iceman is going to be super fun to make. It gives me one more reason to pick up another figure! Enjoy.
