I already posted this in the Halloween Custom Contest thread, but I figured I'd post a thread and talk about how I made Ro-Man. I based him on the poster art instead of how he appeard in the actual movie, because I thought it made a more interesting figure. The main difference is the head - in the movie, Ro-Man just has a lump inside the dive helmet, probably the top of the actor's head. I prefer the skull that was used on the movie poster:

The head is an original sculpt, except for the skull, which was from my parts box. I added antennae from beading wire with a little dab of plastidip on the ends. I also painted the skull so that it glows in the dark. It was hard to photograph, but you might be able to see it.

For the body, I combined parts. The torso is from a fat body, and the limbs are from the Hulk. The suit is made of fun fur. The chest piece is an original sculpt, cast in resin. For the feet, I sliced off the Hulk's big toes and made new ones with MagicSculp. The feet, as well as the hands, were coated with plastidip and painted.
