    Zandor Vorkov

I've been tinkering with this for a while but the weather this weekend really motivated me to finish my annual custom. Based on the independent international classic 1971 film "Dracula Vs Frankenstein", which like the Mad Monsters had art by Gray Morrow:

I've done the film's Dracula portrayed by Zandor Vorkov

He's a heavily modified Sayid from Lost, with Afro and ears sculpted on. I based the paints on the last ten minutes of the film, where Dracula inexplicably appears in kabuki style makeup (except for his hands). Film commentary reveals nobody knew why they did that.

I've begun work on this but I'll be lucky to finish his dance partner in time for Halloween.

Oddly, I used a Lost guy for him as well...

That is SO him. Dead on.

I can imagine him hanging out at Brick's swingin' pad, scoping out his next meal.

Neat-o, don't think I've ever seen a custom of him.

Thanks, the "freak out girl" is probably a little out of my skill set but i'd love to have her.

Thank you and I agree it's just a weird choice, it's why it needed to be done. The producer wanted John Carradine but the director felt this guy looked like Dracula. I don't get that.

John Carradine was pretty long in the tooth by that point, but I still would have preferred him. He looked quite a bit like his Dracula as the undertaker in "The Shootist" later in the decade.

Anyone ever do a John Carradine Dracula custom?
