Tropic Thunder - Sgt. Lincoln Osiris

"I ain't tryin to reprogram a VCR." Hey, been a while, glad to be back. Burnout is never fun, and I had it bad after the Meet. I still have a project to get in the mail for someone, but I'm back to doing this again.

Anyway, it's no secret Tropic Thunder is my all-time favorite comedy. I just had to make this figure. I took a Downey head and sanded the hair off. My first intention was to use a foam microphone cover for the hair, but it wouldn't conform to the shape I needed. So, it came down to my ridiculously bad sculpting skills, which didn't turn out horrendous this time. I think the face sculpt is a bit thin for the character, but it came close. I used some Playing Mantis AJ parts, some CTVT and fashioned the bandolier of shells. Of course the card is from Anthony. I had a shotgun graciously donated by piecemaker, but it broke during shipping. I'll find another sometime. I'm just happy to have a complete figure completed.

I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

That is awesome, and was probably a lot of fun. I really need to watch that movie again.

^^^I hadn't opened it till this afternoon. I was able to glue it together pretty well, so no big deal.

Man, you never go full ******! I can't say nice enough stuff about that 'fro. I struggled (and continue to struggle with my 'fro). That movie kills me and this figure is great. Your face paints are BOOM, dude. You are one of my top favorite customizers and I'm glad you shook out of your slump. Great work!
