Super Yog, my first Mego scale "custom"

More of a kitbash rather than a custom since nothing here is scratchbuilt. I am new to this scale, a refugee from the 1:6 world. I never had Megos as a kid, but I had Big Jim and Grizzly Adams who I outfitted with Adventure Team gear being clearanced at Pic N Save (now Big Lots). My goal in this scale is simple....fun. 1:6 got to be a grind since I was into historically accurate WWII stuff. Now I want weird, crazy and fun stuff for me and my 8 year old son to enjoy. I have limited funds so I picked up some beat up Tomlands on Ebay as well as a nice lot of Doctor Mego gear. Here is the kooky result:

I'm digging him! Keep up the weirdness!

Mina is the world's first Paranormal Petsitter in the new middle-grade book series by Gary Buettner, MONSTER PETS, coming in FALL 2014 from EMBY KIDS. Spooky adventure that's perfect reading for kids 8-12

Great first effort. I think he could use a big 'Y' sticker:-)

Nice! It just occurred to me that you could make a pretty cool Green Lantern Corps out of Retro Action suits and old beater Tomland heads.
