    Custom of the Week - 9/24/2012

    This week the spotlight falls on MegoScott Adams' Didariffic rendering of the Galileo 7. My toy budget is low right now, but I figure a couple of gallons of plasma and one of those babies will be mine. As always with Scott's projects, the art captures the spirit of the time and Mego, but with 21st century results. As much as I loved my Enterprise set as a kid, if I'd had a choice I would have asked for a Galileo 7.

    http://youtu.be/j19pexZqyk0 Finally! Here's my Galileo 7 Shuttlecraft. It's made with a Dida Displaybox that was cut down on one side to achieve the basic shape. Lasermego provided the wings and landing skids, as well as an awesome navigation console with a groovey engraved clear plastic disk as shown in the episode. The

                      Well, hell! That is just down-right friggin awesome! I saw the first pic and thought "cool". I saw the rest of the pics with the interior and went all geeky! LOVE IT!
