Eugene, I am actually working on my next one already....and yes, I am planning on sewing the outfit! I am all kinds of gitty with excitment. Just waiting for a few pieces to come in and I can get it rolling.

EXCELLENT! I'll be looking forward to seeing it. Once you start sewing you'll only get better. Also don't forget about liquid stitch, it's been a great help to me for things I can't really sew.

Great work! Keep it up! My only advice is to take your time and plan your work, then work your plan. That's my philosophy.Courage is being scared to death but saddlin' up anyway. - John WayneComment

Good job. I think Doctor Fate came out real well. (the mitts look great) I would like to kit bash the others at some point to.
Im trying to learn to sew and its taking alot of time and patience. For sure to really appreciate the customs members do on here is to try and do some yourself!Comment

A good example of how I've used Liquid Stitch was my Firestorm http://megomuseum.com/community/show...767#post898767
After cutting off the legs ( leaving it a bit long ) of a yellow bodysuit I rolled up a bit and used Liquid Stitch instead of trying to sew the leg holes, also the shoulder flares, black thread on the front of the trunks & while chest detailing is all Liquid Stitched on. On the arms I rolled up the red sleeve and used LS and the also used it again to attach the yellow cuffs.Comment

For these being your first customs, Chris, those all look mighty fine! Someday, if I ever have the time, I may try throwing together a custom of my own (yeah---like THAT'S ever gonna happen!)
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.Comment
