Right - it dawned on me today I never posted photos of the finished doll I was making for The Plague Sequence's stop-mo and puppet video.
I didn't have my tripod set-up when I snapped a few quick pics, but I've since handed the doll off so that's what I get. There are a few other pieces I did for them like a 1/9th scale Nintendo NES Zap Gun, etc. Maybe I'll make dupes of those to photo. Natacha is actually 5'7" but this doll scaled out to be 5'6" - slightly longer in the legs and shorter in the trunk than the real thing, but that was part of the "slightly stylized" mission.
Here we go:

I went with a pin and elastic ball joint in the hips, but I added mini bushings I made to keep the elastic centered and while kind of fussy, it really did the trick. This is what she looks like when ramping up a roundhouse kick. There's no attachment point or tape under the foot, that's just legit balancing act.

And the Opera pose -->

I didn't take any pics of the back, but the back of the vest laces up with 6-eyelets corset style, just like the real life version.
She actually helped me out in a pinch with booth attendance at a comic book / anime show recently, and I'm going to do a second one to thank her in her signature button front Pikachu onesie (which is what she wore in the booth).
