    Creature from the Black Lagoon

Picked up these parts last year at MegoMeet 2011.
Body is a Cast-a-away green with swivel arms.
    MikeOZ suit
Resin parts by Type3Toys (correct me if wrong John ;-)

I had never touched a sewing needle in my life.
I tried stitching the suit with my wife's machine shortly after the meet...umm, no...her machine did not like the cotton blend and chewed it up.

I waited a few months for time to sit down with my wife and have her show me some fundamentals...in the process, I cut out the bib all wrong.

Picked up a replacement this year from John and was sewing in the Suite that night.

More experimenting with the new light tent and contrasts.
    Enjoy

I think the resin parts originated from sideshow casts.

Yeah, I"ve been desperate to locate one of those green bodies for a year--I was hoping for a second run, but...

The vibrancy of the suit screening is a plus, IMO.

I agree! The cloth attachment to the shoulders and chest, is so sweet. Much better than the sculpted EMCE version. Perhaps it's just the prototype pic, but those EMCE sholders look to be a touch too high on the figure. Not a problem on this suit.

                            That is one sweet Creature!
