Picked up this awesome new 8" figure from the new movie.
The good, AMAZING sculpt. The bad, HORRIBLE paint.
The red is pale, the blue is way too light, and don't even get me started on those orange eyes.
SOOO...I decided to go all out movie accurate. Repainted all the blue to the correct shade with the reflective quality it has on-screen.
Eyes were done with a mix of gloss black and gold and look 100% accurate to the screen. They look black until the light hits them just right and shows the gold lenses and blue frames. Detailed the webshooters and silver toe/heel detail on the boots. Went over the red plastic with transparent red paint to intesify the color, and viola!
