Bat-Vin and the boy wonder :)

A few people had requested more pictures of the way these came out - and had questions - so I figured it might just be easier to post a new thread.

They also requested side and profile pictures etc..

So I will add them here and do my best to answer them all - If I missed anything you guys want to know - Please just tell me.

First question: Do I work for them(myfaceonafigure.com)?

No I do not - I'm not getting paid in any form for posting these figures - I'm just like you all a mego head (and now a mego head Though they did ask if they could use my pictures because they came out pretty cool so I said sure why not. (I was also asked to remind everyone - they only make the heads and normal cloths - the batman, and spiderman suits were me just customizing my own customs - they do not want to be sued by marvel or dc

What is the The head is made of? I'm not sure - its pretty Solid - you can not squoosh it like the ruber heads. It is not resin though - but a hard substance. It has a ruff feel not a smoothe feel to it.

Is it strong? I would say yes - i popped it on and off a few bodies to see how it looks and had no problems with it.

The hair style is not exactly mine - but it works well.

can it be painted? I would say yes - but you know me painting is not my thing - so I will just leave it as is.

How much was it? 129.99 for the 2 pack of me and Michael

some wanted profile shots here you go:

I hope I answered everything - if you guys have any other questions just let me know. Now its time to bring Michael for Ice Cream!

Pretty cool to be able to immortalize you and your son as the Dynamic Duo for that kinda price, Vinny! Nice photos!!! Thanks!
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

Thanks EK - and really the price was not an issue. I think the average custom figure costs me to make anywhere from 50-100.00. To have me and my son is a small price to pay.

I plan on dressing us a few ways - I'll post those when ever I make the costume changes

Question...being a 3D scupt off a 2D pic, do you think they got the profile right? (side view hair looks hinky, sorry if that's accurate LOL). I know ADA Chan has side issues with front pics.

Just think... when Michael starts school he can brag to all his friends that he was a superhero action figure.

                    Great stuff, Vinny.

MegoKnight - the problem with the hair is they do not have all they styles.

They did not have my style - I picked what looked close. So from the front and side looks it is a little off - but as a whole it still looks great from the front view. Also I do not think the machine does the hair - it just does the face - they must put the hair on after - i think that is why it looks a little bulky/hinky.

So you have a valid point. But the way the face looks from the hair down just looks almost exact to the picture.

at the end of the day figure will be displayed in the clam shell it came with - so people will only look at it head on anyway.

Thanks Vin. I was hoping for that info. I want to immortalize my wife and I in our hey day (rather than the bald fat me LOL)and wanted to make sure it wouldn't be wasted money.

haha I hear you - we all need to drop a few lbs in the real world - lucky are mego forms are in better shape then we are

and we all lose a couple of strans over the years - here is the good thing for us - you take front and side pics - just go to the website it is super easy to use. you wil see you have to pic hair styes - so you will get you locks back for the figure.

I will be doing one of my wife and daughter next - I did not want to get 4 at once with out knowing how they would come out. But being these came great I'm going for wave 2 - plus Bella and Michael are twins they are going to be 3 in 2 months. Bella keeps asking me "where my dill daddy" so I will put her order in this week. If you like I will post those when they come in.
