thanks everyone for the wonderful comments!
I'm truly humbled I came home empty handed from MegoMeet...feels like a little kid who hit a grand slam in the 9th.
Here's some pics I took before the Meet:
Since he's all gone, I still have some wanting one.
I'll post an interest thread in marketplace.Comment

Nice job, that came out great. Excellent presentation as well. What did you use for the tail?"Steel-like jaws clacked away, each bite slashing flesh from my body - I used my knife and my hands, and when they were gone, my bloody stumps - and yet the turtles came."Comment

The donor for the tail was found at a Mego meet either last year, or the year before.
It was off one of those 1990's (I think) Toy Biz 10-12" Lizard figs and modified it.Comment

I know you are offering up a 'fixed hand' second run scenario in the marketplace. Was wondering if you had considered an unpainted kit of the special casts for the figure. You might find some interest from builders in the community.Comment

So, the original vision for this figure was to use the dark brown, swivel arm Cast-A-Way bodies.
I bought two from Dave back at Mego Meet 09 or 10.
Sadly, those two bodies were factory error and never returned to stock.
When I built the run for Mego Meet 2012, for color reasons, I went with CTVT (re-strung em all).
Well, these past few weeks I have been building the two Cast-A-Way figures as I originally visioned him.
I had to rework my resin formula a tad to get the darker castings, and with the excessive heat we're experiencing - the resin kicked really fast. Took me a few tries that day to get em done lol.
The forked hand is not magnetic as the meet exclusive figure was, but is removable if I want to put the hand back on.
