    Project 87: Moon Devil

This is the first in a line of figures I'm doing just for my oown amusement and nostalgia. I have a folder full of designs and characters me and my gaming friends created during high school, and I intend to bring some of them to Mego life. This one was created in my ninja phase. During the 80's we made all kinds of mystical ninja stuff and created entire clans. The first line of figures will be from this clan.

Looking at these pics, I'm not satisfied with the head. I think I may re-do that part. Otherwise this is pretty much the exact design I had from 1986-87.

I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

I like the head, kinda gives the idea that there is a skull under that hood. Cool looking figure design.

Great looking figure, Scott. Is there a story reason why one arm is more muscular than the other?

Kind of a ghosty Batman look.

I think it's just camera angle.

Nice looking figure Scott. I agree, it looks like there could be some disfiguration under the mask. Kinda like the deadpool concept. Gives some intrigue to the origin of the character.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

Nice original piece, Scott! I love the fact that the head is fully visible, but still doesn't reveal anything about the character besides the fact that he'd likely kick yer arse!
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

Hm, the head's not too bad, it just needs some shading on the cheekbones to make them appear sharper in the light.

Maybe a really pale bluish-grey cast, ever so slight to make the cheekbones stand out.

Also, the ears need a bit of shading; not too much, just a smidge.

Other than that, this is one cool figure.

Were you going for a bat looking ninja, or a wolf or tiger?
