    Green Lantern Tomar Re

Here's another Lantern figure. Ya think I like them? This is the Doc's swivel arm body with castaway boots and my suit. I'm thinking of using the standard T2 body for most of the GL customs I do. He just seems a little too bulky for the character. If I do make this one again, I'll go with a more orange tint to the head. Yellow is THE hardest color to do on resin, especially with my particularly stylized paints. Putting some orange into the mix gives many more options, I was just going for comics accuracy with this one.

It's funny, with this head no matter what angle you look he appears to be very, very scared or shocked. The last head shot makes me laugh. He's scared of something...or someone.

I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

I like it! What paint are you using? I use the Gamesworkshop paints, they work great. A friend of ours recomended them to me, they make a huge difference.

              Hey Scott,

He looks great. I actually like the yellow you used. Orange can kind of look harsh. As always excellent brushwork.

I use GW paint for yellow, but I rarely use any paint right out of the bottle. I mix all of my colors. The only yellows I've used that are any good are GW and Windsor and Newton tubes. I'm sure there are other options, these just work for me. The rest of my stuff is almost all the cheapo stuff from a craft store, just mixed and blended my own, unique goofy way.

Love the paints Scott. Great job, as usual. I had a similar issue with my Toyman custom, with the thinner body. It just didn't look right on the T2 size body. I went with an original T1 body and it was perfect. Might wanna try to find a Joker body and see if that works. It gives the thin stature while keeping a little mucular definition.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.
