I love this custom - old school sci-fi pin-up girl, mixed with the right amount of sass, creativity, and offensive weaponry. Well done!
"It's sad that governments are chiefed by the double tongues. There is iron in your words of death for all Comanche to see, and so there is iron in your words of life. No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men. The words of Ten Bears carries the same iron of life and death. It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life... or death. It shall be life."

Sweet! She's got a total Silver age vibe going on. I can picture Her fighting hostile aliens alongside Adam Strange
NO SIR, I DIDN'T SEE YOU PLAYING WITH YOUR DOLLS AGAIN.

She's totally cool, dude! I, too, get a very Forbidden Planet-y vibe off of her. That and maybe some Space Patrol, too....
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

The gun is from Mezco's awesome "Gomez" figure. Found them on Amazon.com. She's just borrowing it. Brickarms (they make unofficial weaponry for legos) makes a tiny retro raygun, I just didn't get one yet and couldn't wait to post her. I starteded wondering if I could mold/cast in.

The disks on her head are lego parts.
Great figure! She would fit right in with the Buster Crabbe Flash Gordon figure (when it comes out). I luv the ray gun. It adds a nice touch to the figure.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.

Super cool figure Gary! What did you use on the boots? Is that silver vinyl and fabric spray paint?

The boots are painted with acrylic paint (I paid a little more and it was worth it) and the fabric is just a silver spandex-y stuff i got from Joann's.
