I did him like Mego would have.A piece off of every mego they were already making.A painted Batman Head, a red Spidey body, Shazam suit with the yellow cuffs removed, and Iron Man boots and gloves.
Finshed him off with a shield and a belt .

Thanks. They are real mego Iron Man boots and gloves, got them in an Ebay lot awhile back, and was just waiting for something to use them on.All right Fort Wayne.You have one of the best zoos we've ever been to there

Nice work. Where did you get the belt? I want to put a DD together. I have the head done, suit and boots are accessible, it's the belt that's holding me back

The belt is a rubber wrist band that was given away at Walmart for the release of a Harry Potter movie.I cut it down to fit, then cut a piece to make a buckel the took a "D" from the wife's scrap book letters for it.

DAREDEVIL is a custom I have on my TO DO list and your approach is right on. I have always liked to use "found items" on custom pieces and the use of the IRON MAN gloves and boots along with the re-worked BATMAN head are excellent choices if a customizer does not sew, or sculpt.

Thanks Joe, the shield is a color disk from work.We were trying different colored reds for the right color to run through a mold.Couldn't see them going to waste.The devil head sticker is off a Casillero del Diablo wine bottle.

Famous covers Daredevil comes with a nice belt/billy club set-up. I've sold a coulple here and there at the museum. Apparently, they work really well.
