Without Paul Clarke and Brian Leitner this sweet custom would not be possible. So I take my hat off to them for the patience, work and many things they have created to help my Red Arrow figure finally find a decent outfit and body.
So anyway,
Yes, I know Roy Harper has went through some changes and now with the rebooted universe he is known as Arsenal or ******* whichever you want to call him.
I thought the Justice League Red Arrow was a good idea and it was cool to see Roy step into the Green Arrow's shoes.
Talking to Brian Leitner, I knew he was the man to tackle this suit job.
Originally I wanted the suit to look Mego but I decided I wanted the Red Arrow suit to match my Dc Retro Action heroes Green Arrow.
Brian did an awesome job cutting the material on the arms to match the material to look like the DC Retro Action Green Arrow. I sculpted and painted the head from using some unknown head as the base.
The arrow back is Dr. Mego along with the bow. The boots are dyed DC Retro Action Superman boots to match the dark red colors.
This was the best I was going to get the Red Arrow without being too picky and as far as I'm concerned, this will be how Roy Harper forever remains in my custom Mego collection.

Notice my Aquaman head. I couldn't stand that hairdoo that was on my DC Retro Action Aquaman so I sculpted him a little bit of waviness in his hair.

Up next to Green Arrow, I think Brian Leitner nailed the Dc Retro Action look. Besides, I think some of Brian Leitner's work was used for their designs? I could be wrong.
If you haven't noticed. I have transferred all of my DC Retro action bodies over to Dr. Mego bodies. I have left Green Arrow alone because of him becoming a rarity but probably by this summer he'll be on a Dr. Mego body anyway.
