    Coffin box

    I finally got around to taking some photos of what I have been up to. Like I had said in a previous post, I am experimenting with custom boxes with dual functions.
    This is the first of hopefully many differant coffins. I decided to paint Dracula's crest on the front of this one. The interior is lines with a soft felt. I had a lot of fun making this and am excited to see how many variations I can come up with. I also plan on doing some boxed figures with these.

    I am sorry about not being able to post photos. I hope you do not mind taking a second to just take a peek?

      Dave, The coffin you made looks pretty good to me. The paint job on the crest is fantastic. With the monsters being popular right now you should be able to move these pretty good.

                                  lepage, THAT, my friend, is a very, very cool box!!! I love how authentic it looks! Just out of curiosity, what did you make the outside out of? It looks so authentically woody! Did you use balsa wood mayhap??

                                      I use a certain kind of tape and then just paints. Thanks for the kind words. They are fun to make.

                                                  It took about 10 patterns before I was happy with the end result. I am going to make all sorts of variations. Some with bearer handles on the side etc.
                                                  Any ideas/requests?
