Earth2 Fist Fighter Robin

This is the start of my Earth2 Fist Fighter Robin. I used an original FF Robin and added the original Batman costume, gloves, belt and boots. I am trying to keep it as close to the original Mego figures as possible. I am not happy with the cape so I going to redo it and possibly the mask to look like the cover of Justice League #55. I should be getting a custom box for this once completed as well. I will upload more pictures once completed.

That thing is amazing! You probably know this but my trick is to take a little Acetone or fingernail polish on a cue tip and take it over the mask to take some of he black mask off. Then let it dry and take some black paint and retouch it for the look. I've done quite a few of those classic Robin Earth 2 masks from his first appearance in that suit.
I've known some to use magic marker. That works but not for long, it will turn yucky and purple. Trust me.

Thank you for the support and information. It has been a long while since I had done anything like this. I downloaded the pattern for the cape from here and have modified it so it should look good. It will be a little longer than the Batman cape and have the collar. My wife helped with the emblem.

Awesome work! I just did a E2 Robin and he is my favorite right now. I had Mego73 do my box, so he has the artwork already done if you want to use his. I am very pleased with his work, the boxes are stunning. You can see the box on page 2 here:

Thanks for the info about the box. I am not sure if I am going to do a Fist Fighter Card or box for it. Was your emblem an iron on or was it a sticker? Your figures look really good too.

It's a vinyl sticker, I had LaserMego do it for me. I think it cost me $3 total and he sent me 2! His stickers are awesome.
