    12" Tom Welling SUPERMAN!

This isn't mine...this is my friend Chris's custom "kit-bash" Welling SUPERMAN. But love it and want to make my own.
He used the Hot Toys Brandon Routh Superman Suit(which they showed on Smallville) and body, with a Headplay head. For for you Smallville fans who want to see Tom in the suit...here he is!

I bought one of the Heads for myself...now I'm hoping to find the costume or loose Routh figure at a reasonable price on eBay.

The paint job on the head is outstanding.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.

Actually he's Factory rotocast in that flesh tone. Although I would imagine someone had to paint the eyes and hair...unless that's a Factory paint job as well?

I've been thinking about making a Smallville Clark with that head. It's really well done. Thanks for posting that, and grats to your friend! That's a sharp figure.

                        Good luck with that.
Hot Toys prices, loose or boxed are skyrocketing out of control. Your best bet for that outfit I'm sad to say is the old Mattel version. It actually isn't such a bad version but it has "built in" muscles that need to be trimmed or removed on non-Ken type bodies.
                        Bugler, sound the advance.

Just got into Smallville about two weeks ago having never watched a single episode ever and now I cannot get enough of it. I have a whole new respect for Superman. I just finished Season Three today...No doubt Welling is the best Superman ever and Lex and Lionel make the show! Great figure!

My friend Chris got lucky and picked one up for $150 in the box. I had my chance to get one for $155. but a guy that won my eBay auction didn't pay, so I had to file a "non-paying" bidder. By that time I lost my chance.
