Thanks for the kind words! I'm familiar with s_bennet's work (just from seeing it posted on various message boards) but I have no connection to him.

Use a Famous Covers or Hasbro 9 incher for Atom.

Nah, those 9"-ers would be way out-of-scale; here's a pic showing the size difference between a DCD 13" figure and the Famous Covers Sabretooth (which uses the same base body as the FC Hulk and is close to 10"):

While short, I believe the GA Atom is still supposed to be around 5'1", which would bring him to around shoulder height of the others. Actually, if I could find a bulky/muscular true 1/6 scale (12") body, that would probably work.

Holy ****!!!!! I haven't thought of a cool word to describe this. Amazing!!

You must have a pretty good income or have rich parents to be able to afford those figures like that. Those things are a big chunk of change just for one of them.

Nice work on the fabric and suit designs. I'm really impressed. I keep coming back here an adding my thoughts as I go back and stare some more. I'm a big original EARTH 2 JSA fan. Amazing, simply amazing.

just lengthen the legs and arms of a FC Sabretooth to give it the height you need. It would match the chest of that figure better anyway. Besides, in your pic they aren't even toe to toe, betting its a bit better if you take away the stands and straighten out the Sabretooth legs.

Actually, Sabretooth's legs are as straight as they'll get, and the stand only adds about 1/4" or so. Here's a side-by-side comparison shot:

At that size, the Atom would look more like a child or midget than a short adult. I actually thought of using a 12" ToyBiz Wolverine figure (the one that came with Secret Identity clothes), the size is about right, but that body is just too poorly articulated :

              And all 3 side-by-side:

well, if 12 inch is that much shorter just use a Dragon or something. Oh, and if you want to sell that Sabretooth, lmk.

Would love to see you do Mr. Terrific, & tweak Black Canary.

I keep coming back here and looking at those figures. I feel like a kid in a candy store you know. Well, #1 because the JSA is one of my all time favorites and your work (no matter if it is not on a traditional Mego body) is just amazing. You must have money falling out of you butt to be able to afford those figure 13 inch figures. Aren't they like 70 bucks a pop?

Well, they are a bit pricey, but I've been fortunate to pick up a bunch at reasonable prices. I was able to get multiples of Aquaman, Nightwing, Shazam/Captain Marvel, Dr Manhattan, Black Canary, Zatanna, etc, for $25-30 each just a year or so back. It's tougher to get them cheap now, but I'm still able to find deals. I recently picked up a total of 5 different figures (Aquaman, Shazam, Luthor, Martian Manhunter and Batgirl) in 2 separate auctions for $76 shipped.
