    Drex,Evil Warrior(AD&D)

Here's my 1/9th scale version of Drex the evil warrior from LJN'S 2nd series AD&D action figures.I sculpted the head from clay over a CTVT Black Bart head and his body from clay over a Castaway toy's body.I sculpted his helmet, weapons, and Shield from clay.I painted all sculpted parts with acrylic paints & sealed with Mod-Podge.

Coolest shield I have ever seen, but I love anything with skulls on it

excellent, love your sculpting style. You know , these really remind me of the old lead D&D figures blown up to 8 inches, right down to the painting style.

I did a search for "Drex" here to see if anyone had an original one for sale and found this custom! Very cool and very true to the original design!

Man, that is sweet. I really loved those D&D toys when I was a kid. Great work as always!
