Elkhorn,Dwarf Fighter(AD&D)

Here's my custom Elkhorn action figure.I sculpted his body (his base as well)from clay-stone over a Guitar Legends,God Of Rock action figure.I sculpted his helmet over a plastic WW2 American Army type helmet(I got from a friend).I sculpted his sword,dagger,sheaths,shield,and chainmail collar from Clay-stone.I sculpted his Ax from sculpey a while back.I sculpted his head from Clay-stone over a 6inch figure's head(that I got from a friend).I painted all sculpted parts with acrylics and sealed with Mod-Podge.My (customizer) friend also made the pants and his leather tunic(I altered from a jacket with some cutting).You can see more pics @: Pictures by yokaijohn001 - Photobucket

Great use of markdown figures. I saw those at Big Lots and was trying to come up with a use for him. Bravo!

Nice work. I'm waiting (hoping) for the half-orc assasin and the evil magic user with the black/red cloak. I can't think of their names. Always cool to check out what you're doing.

Thanks guys,glade you like my D&D's.And Joe,now I wish I had picked up a few more of those when I got that one(they no longer have them now).Oh and Gary,next up(for D&D) will be Melf the Elf and I just started working on Zorgar the Evil Barbarian(from the 2nd series)last night(I never actually had any of the 2nd series toys back in the 80's).I will get around to making Zarak(the Half-Orc Assassin)and The Evil Wizard,Kelek eventually though.
