Guy Gardner -- My First MATTEL Custom

I have been planning on making a Guy Gardner custom for a very long time. So when Matty announced it was coming out with one I thought I could cross it off my "to do" list. Not so fast!

In my opinion, the Guy Gardner figure was near perfect in every detail, except for one: his head. Now I do NOT hate the head sculpt, I just prefer the one that was used on a GG DC Direct figure a few years back.



Enlarging this head using Hydrospan, I then removed all of GG clothes and put them on a Castaway Toys body and popped on the new head.

Not sure if this is considered "cheating" and I don't really care. All I know is that I finally have the Guy Gardner I have always wanted.

Great custom! Definately not cheating. I have no problem with head swops (Mattel does it. they all do it, why shouldn't we) and you had to change the size of your head. As far as the Castaway body, if your into posabiliy, why not.
