New Paints

You may have seen these guys in the market place but I figured I would toss the images back here so I see if you guys like the new paints! Here is my Chris Reeve/Clark Kent/Superman, My Sinestro (made him a long time ago but he just got a new paint job, and a Heath Ledger Joker head I just finished up today. Here ya go

That's looking pretty darn sweet. I haven't seen the before shots so I don't have anything to compare, but those look good, real good.

First off Random Axe and BK, coming from you two those are awesome compliments, you two are amazing customizes! Here is the old Sinestro, he was one of the figure customs I made:

Okay I can see the improvements now.

You've added some depth and layers with some dry brushing/washes. One small suggestion for would be to add a little pink into your flesh tones. I've got a very specific formula I use for flesh, and pink is in the mix. Most of the craft store flesh paints are too pale by themselves. I mix a few colors into it to get a rich color. Games Workshop Dwarf flesh and elf flesh are great but expensive. I've had some decent results using ceramcoat and folk art paints mixed for maximum pigmentation.

Keep posting your figures. You've got a good thing going. I'd like to see mroe.
