    Balchoth Kataphrakt(Rhun heavy Calvary,LOTR)

The Balchoth were a Confederation of tribes from Rhun, just one of the many nations of Rhun aligned with Sauron during the "The War of The Ring".My figure represents a Balchoth Kataphraket,a type of elite heavy calvary warrior or Soldier, which Tolkien writes were used by the Balchoth on the battlefield to great effect. For his look I was inspired by historical Scythian and Persian ancient heavy calvary warriors.
I sculpted his helmet from Clay-Stone over a CTVT Black Knight helmet.I sculpted his neck guard armor from Clay-Stone over a CTVT BK neck guard. His Shoulder armor is CTVT BK shoulder armor,to the left side I attached(with E-6000) a small shield I sculpted from Claystone.I sculpted his sword, sheath, bow, and bow-case from Clay-stone.His Arrow-case is a CTVT black arrow case. His lance is A CTVT Ivanhoe lance(I removed the guard and painted).I made the chest plate armor from some plastic I cut from a food packaging tray,I sculpted the symbol disc in the center from Claystone(and attached with E-6000).For his outfit I used a CTVT Ran outfit(I altered a little) and for the Chain-mail underneath I used a CTVT Ivanhoe chain-mail outfit.I used CTVT Ivanhoe boots for his armor boots. For the head I used a CTVT Sitting Bull head which I repainted with acrylics and sealed with Mod-podge.All sculpted parts were painted with acrylics and sealed with Mod-Podge as well. The body is a mixture of Emce and Castaway parts.
