Hello,
Well I just finished Commando Cody. I based this one on "Rocket men from the Moon". This took me over two weeks to do. I made the rocket pack and the chest control. The jacket is from a barbie doll. I had to take in the sleeves and the waist in order for it fit right. The helmet as well as the pants,shirt,shoe and gun are from Dr.Mego. The helmet need a lot of modifying. I had to enlarge the eyes and cut out the mouth. I mainly used a small drill bit and an exacto knife.I had to do a lot of sanding around the top to get that "bullet" look. I also inserted screen for the mouth and clear plastic for the eyes. I decided to go with the gray pants instead of the blue because some of the pictures I looked at, it seem that commando cody's pants were a lighter color. I hope you all like it!!!!
