    Frankenstein paint variants--

Here's some quick pics of some of the different paint jobs and head positioning for my custom Franky. It's super fun to play with different techniques to achieve different looks from the same head sculpt. The one on right is more of a staightforward olive tone paint job, on an EMCE Franky. The one in the middle is much brighter and more mego-esque, built on the absolutely amazing castaway green body. This one perfectly captures the 70's toy feeling for me and is my personal favorite. On the left is the head positioned slightly differently, which really shows the innocence and purity of the monster. Sad to see them all go, but 3 hardcore Franky fans are anxiously awaiting their arrival.

Gonna be re-tooling this sculpt to do the Bride version, as well as a Son of Frankenstein figure.

I think you could spraypaint those orange and they'd still look great. the sculpt is incredible.

                Dude,

How can you not be working for toy companies in your off-time when you're away from making movies!?!? Your like the amplifier in Spinal Tap - you go to 11!

I really dig the Son of Frankenstein look. Green is the way to go rather than the blue.

They all look great. I think the one at the back left is my favourite...perhaps it's the winsome look you captured.

                      John,

I did that for quite some time. I found it in the end to be much more of a business as opposed to something artistic and fun for me. If I'm not expressing myself creatively and absolutely loving what I'm doing, I'll lose interest in it very quickly, regardless of the monetary rewards, etc... I'm much happier doing my own thing with the customs or whatever.
