If you haven't seen the new Thor movie and you are a Thor fan, go see it. There were small continuity issues but it was OK. I saw it and the best part about it was the fact...um....ooops(can't go into that here)....but lets say I loved it.
Recently I had created a Thor body based on a Famous Covers torso and beefed up legs and parts from various bodies.
I was never happy with the head until my daughter found a new set of Marvel PEZ heads that came out.
The Thor head was perfect but I had to spend pain staking hours removing the plastic hair they had on him that looked goofy.
Then I was able to pop the cheap helmet off and fabric glue blond hair (strand by strand) onto the head and eventually pushed down the head and sealed it shut and repainted it with chrome paint.
I added a few more strands of blond hair until I was happy.
This is the outcome. Yes, I love the Famous Covers torso and Thor suit. It was nicely done but correcting the height was the trick and it worked out fine after lots of tweaking.
The hammer of course was way to big and I took it apart and refitted it. Still not happy with the size of the hammer head.

To give you a shot of his back to show you how nice his hair looks and what went into it here it is....

If you see the Thor movie. Don't expect Loki to be the Mister Nasty he is in the comics. He is actually kind of a wuss. The only disappointing thing in the movie though.
