Chewbacca, also known as Chewie, is a character in the Star Wars franchise, portrayed by Peter Mayhew. In the series' narrative chronology, he appears in the films Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. He guest starred on the season 3 finale on Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008 TV series).
I wanted to tackle Chewbacca for a long time. He had to be taller so which means I would have to make an new body.
I combined the long arms of a Famous Covers female with the torso from an another male figure.
I spent pain staking hours making a body suit of brown fur and then trying to find paint that matched the head.
Here is the outcome. Love him, hate him or make fun him.....it's Chewbacca!
