    here's my take on the macabre manthing!
    ok, time to confess: I totally stole this idea from a very talented guy I found online who does famous covers customs. hey, he listed the recipe!
    body is a famous covers sabretooth. covered him with textured rubber gardening gloves. added roots and veins with hot glue gun.
    tentacles, eyes and mushrooms/growths are sculpey.
    final green details are from a miniature landscaping kit- shrubs, moss and grass.
    he's playable but not very poseable. mostly his arms, hands and head move; his legs kinda just hold him up!

                  Man-Thing will always be a 70s comic favorite! As a newbie trying to learn as much as possible about customizing, I just want to say hanks for posting your "recipe". Short, sweet and informative.
