Thanks everyone for the kind words. I am happy that this has sparked interest in the mikeoz outfits. If anyone hasn't seen yet, there are more available in the For Sale forum. The detailed sewing instructions and pictures he provides with the outfit are very comprehensive and professionally done. We will have our own Creature army here at the museum .

The head, feet and hands are from the Sideshow version. I just added a neck plug to the head and then modified the hands and feet to fit on a Mego body.

And if I would have read your first post better I'd have seen that. Thanks.

                      whelp, it's been a long day...and a longer evening.
I have learned one important thing.

I CAN NOT sew for jack.

I had planned on picking up this suit from John at the Meet; which was my first purchase of the weekend.

Sat down tonite; cut it all out..started doing the hem on the left arm.
Crap. Not even six stitches into it; BAM, big ole jam. The suit material got sucked down into that mechanism that moves the material (under the foot).
During removal of the jam, the sleeve got stretched out a bit.

                      Sat back and said...mkay...

took a couple pieces of scrap from what I cut off the pattern....

                      good grief what a mess.

This thing is going to have to be all hand done before I ruin it further.
Hopefully my wife won't go to bed so darn early tomorrow and help me.

When you sew stuff like this it helps to put a backer under the fabric before running it through. I use old photocopies and notes, but newspaper would work too.

                                ahhh thanks for the tip!
My wife was gonna help me this weekend; but she had to run out of town unexpectedly.
The suit is so cool, I dare not try the machine again on my own...hand sewing is as foreign to me as the machine
perhaps a quick Google/YouTube video would teach me...
